I heard that former Forza players were rewarded, and that’s quite true:

On top of that, at every level up you get to spin for a prize...I’m level three and got the grand prize each of the first three spins. So that gave me a Veyron (which I sold for $550k), $1 million in credits, and a Lotus E23 F1 car that I sold for another million credits. So I’m like 5 races into the game and I have $7 million credits.

Now I’m doing races with $15k payouts, and I’m kinda like “what’s the point?” I can already buy whatever I want...I dropped $1.2 million on a Gurney Eagle cause why not?

But I guess that’s good, actually. I would have never done that in Forza 4, but here I am spending that money on a car I might race once cause I wanted it.

Anyway, it’s a bit of a different game. They kinda tell you what you’re going to drive for the next X races...I liked in 4 being able to do the World Tour or just choose my race, so hopefully they add something like the latter at some point.

All that said, I'm enjoying the actual racing. The computer opponents seem a lot better than 4, and driving the wet tracks is fantastic. Driving in general is a lot tougher than Forza 4, but I dig it.

I don’t mind how easy it is to make money. Forza 5 was difficult at first until they fixed it. I went from 2 million to 10 million my first night playing it. My buddy started out with 20,000,000! Apparently you get rewarded for buying so many cars, so the week before 6 came out he bought the cheapest car in Forza 5 God knows how many times.

Apparently if I play Forza 6 for the first time I’ll receive 10.2 million credits…how tempting.

You must just be lucky. I got like 8 cars for having the previous games, but that was all. My prize spins have been sorta-meh cars like a MR2 and a Celica...

Now that I'm thinking about it, it's definitely more good than bad. Within the confines of what they make you buy (classic compacts, hot hatches, whatever) I can use whichever one I like. Plus I can do crazy shit like buy that Gurney Eagle. It's pretty decent.

I was honestly a bit disappointed that I only got $400k credits since ive played Forza since Forza 2...

Still a fun game. Rain fucking sucks.

I think I got the bonus I did because I once bought a pack of car tokens so I could buy some really expensive cars in Fourza. They say it was a car collector bonus, so that's my guess.
